How do I sign up for the competition?

  • You do not need to "sign up" before the competition deadline. As long as you submit your pitch video by July 15th 11:59 PM (PST), you are entered into the competition.

 

Does it cost money to participate?

  • No, submission is free.

  • July 15th 11:59 PM (PST)

 

Can I work with somebody else for my pitch video?

  • Yes, teams can have up to four students.

 

How do I submit the project?

 

How do I know if my submission was successful?

  • You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.

 

Is it safe for me to upload a video of myself to this competition? Am I required to show my face?

  • It’s completely safe to include yourself in your video; we will not be sharing your content to people other than the judges without your consent. You are not required to show your face if you don’t feel comfortable.

 

Where can I find help and/or resources?

 

Do we have to be a middle school student to participate?

  • Yes, our competition is only for middle school students in the 2019-2020 school year.

 

Do I have to be a Washington State student in order to participate?

  • No, our competition is open to all students!

 

How will we be judged?

 

When and how will we know the winners?

  • The awards will be announced on July 29th before 12 PM (PST). They will be announced via email and on our website.
